Like driving I'd much prefer to do single lessons, hopefully making it cheaper for me to pass my A2.

At the moment the cheapest I've found is £400 for a single day, with a retest fee of £160. Now I'm going to have to do this all again in 2 years time so i don't want to spend anywhere near £500 on it.

Been on CBT for 5 months now and am looking to upgrade to A" and Bandit 600 come spring/summer next year.

Googling only comes up with these schools that do 3-4-5 day packages, which I don't want.

Any ideas/suggestions of cheap schools/instructors?

I'm in manchester, M44

Thanks

Tried calling them and asking if they do single days?

I did mine with mototechnique near Victoria station. Paid for a DAS package after riding with a cbt for a year. Let me suit lessons around my shifts with work.

i found one which did single days, £400 with £160 retest fee :(

and @ Chris, what do you mean a package? Tuition to pass all parts I assume? and how much was it if you don't mind me asking

I paid for individual lessons to my confidence up on my 125, then paid for 4 big bike lessons plus my tests, just had to book my theory myself. Good bunch of lads, allow me to drop in and give me hints on how to improve my riding still.

That price sounds an awful lot for a single day! Why not call them and ask what is included in that price?

I only paid that much for 5 days including both tests.

Mike Williams in Bolton should do you single days if you ask. I think I paid about 1000 in total which was CBT through DAS plus 2 MOD 1 retests. Not the cheapest I found around Manchester but had much better reviews than the real cheap ones

I think they were quoting 150 a day when they were trying to get me to sign up to post pass lessons.

Give them a call and ask, they may want to do a riding assessment first

I'll phone up motor technique and mike Williams at some point this week then.

In a perfect world i would need a couple of hours just to get used to the bike and a few on the stuff for Mod1/2.

I got lessons at £25 per hour booked in 2hour blocks in Northern Ireland. Just as a benchmark for you!!

Like has been said, try calling for deals.

Personally I used Camrider in chester - great guys and good price. I know they're doing deals on DAS at the moment so maybe worth a call.
