As you can see not much was done here apart from pannels were taken off and a few small bits stripped

Here some more work done after today. Stripped quite alot including all cables, rear mudguard, handlebar with all components, tank, seat etc...

Now need to get a centre stand which is hard to find on the cheap so I can take engine off, wheels, forks and suspensions (unless anyone has ideas for alternative things to get the bike to be jacked). After dismanteling the hard graft starts I will be cleaning engine and respraying black also will be sanding down the frame and respraying this. Then to put everything back together with new and existing parts.

Very good idea. Will try it. Do you think I can get the engine out when its on the side stand?

yes that engine will come out with bike on side stand 2 bolts at the back one or two at the front and maybe on at the top then wriggle it out
