Looking to get out and about.

So the north west rideout section seems a bit dead, it was certainly a lot more lively this time last year.

Could do with something to look forward to so just as the weather should be getting a little milder, is anyone up for planning some rideouts?

Don't mind avoiding motorways and going at a leisurely pace if any 125 riders want to get involved. I'm located near Bolton, a stones throw from Rivington barn (challenge 100 location last year)

Herro!

I live in banks just outside of southport :)

On a 125? We could do a Sunday where we follow the A49 up to Skipton, then cut through Grassington, up to Hawkes and back into the lakes on that road. Make a decision from there as to wether to head further up towards Keswick and maybe knock a few challenge 100 scores off or head back.

There's some cracking roads round that way that you wouldn't be at too much of a disadvantage on, you'd struggle to maintain 60 on a big bike to be fair, winds all over the dales. Plus it's not going to be a case of getting off and leaving you, leave no man behind!!

That's come through, I've got plans this Sunday, first one back on the bike in a while, going to spend that getting used to it, then I start a new job the following Monday. Maybe the 23rd? Hopefully the weather will have turned a bit by then.

Count me in. I'm commuting on it this week, anytime its not actually pi---ing down or freezing, I can make Rivington in around 30 minutes, and quite happy to potter in company, I'm definitely not a speed freak. Got a birthday party this Sunday, also usually available Saturdays, unfortunately also many Thurs & Fridays as only working part time at the moment. (Not my choice)
