hardleydavidson Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Hi,On top of the numerous other issues I've been having with this bike it seems to have a judder on the front wheel. When pushing the bike (something I've done a lot of) if you steer left it judders but goes away when straight or steering right, I've checked the brake cable and it's not catching on anything and the brake operates normally, also it seems to go away if I feather the brake. I've looked at the brake but it's not loose and looks ok, not that I know what I should be looking for.Any ideas? Quote
Tango Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Check the wheel bearings mate......one of them could be partially seized or breaking up...... Quote
littlecat Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 wheel bearings would've been my guess, but then im a girl...so what do I know lol Quote
rennie Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I would say wheel bearings, warped disc or sticking pads/ caliper. Quote
DreamytimeEscorts Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Sounds like wheel bearings to me or possibly headstock bearings. Quote
hardleydavidson Posted March 10, 2014 Author Posted March 10, 2014 Thanks chaps,It was the wheel bearings, stuck a new set in and now have a slight increase in speed as well. Quote
