You will hate it at first and you will shit yourself if you have been running around at 4k

Took her for a ride up to Hereford today. Opened the throttle and had a couple of 9k moments ... :D

Loved it. Was a bit 'arse tweeky' at first but soon got used to it. First proper ride out and loved it.

I've had my ER6 since the start of this month, and while I know it's not the biggest bike in the world or most loony, but by Christ it's plenty for me, I've been taking the softly softly approach to running it in, with a few episodes of f*ck this s*it, I'm bored- and letting her open (but not fully), it just pulls at any revs? I pull back and it just goes?! I had the front wheel up in 4th I'm sure? Maybe 3rd or 5th, I never know but that'll come I'm sure, it was a split second but that was my cue saying "alright now ya penis, reign it in" I've done 250miles on it so have a long way to go before it's "run in" according to the guy at the shop, just need to find nice runs to take it on without too much high speed road, found the joys of horse poop on a bike joeman... It's slippy! Good job I play it extra careful when going to my mums, and my dads, and the grandparents.

I personally ride so I'm going comfortable round corners, I don't rev the nuts off it and I don't let it splutter, probably around the 4k mark? Redlines at 10 or 12? But she ain't gonna see that colour for a long while yet!!
