CGD217 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I dont think so, you should have provisional entitlement on you licence, I did anyway and I passed my car test in 2010, just double check though. Quote
Colinzor Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 Im not sure how to check? my licence only shows dates on the B1 and B id like to ring DVA tomorrow but i dont think theEDIT: Ah yes i found another thread with someone pointing to someone explaining entitlements and such and i see on my counterpart licence it says im entitled to A which is a motorcycle.thank you Quote
runningman Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 You can check your driving entitlements on the DVLA website. You'll need your driving licence number, national insurance number and postcode. Have a wander around the DVLA website and you'll find it. Quote
Stu Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 If you have a full licence then you have a provisional bike on there too Quote

Enjoy your CBT and ride safe. thanks guys, can i ask is the Northwest 200 a bike race? sorry sounds a silly question but never been to any biking events around Northern Ireland before Quote
Zipster Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Yes chum - it's the big one around Portrush and Portstewart. Practise starts this week and racing is next weekend. Quote
Zipster Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Thursday night is usually a good night to watch the practice if you don't fancy heading to the main event. Quote
Colinzor Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 Why does everyone feel the need to get their bike test or get their bike ready for it isnt it a professional race.Im guessing they just like to come up with a bike to join in the meet ups ect ? Quote
MR_W Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 It's a bit like the TT except it's basically the British superbikes, on public road (TT is 30 sec interval releases rather than grid starts. As a result, lots of bikers ride up to watch both. I fully plan to go to the NW200 on my bike, and I live berkshire/Hampshire way! Quote
Colinzor Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 great enjoy guys hopefully ill be there next year Quote
