I hate to ask this as the people at my training school are really nice but as I work all week and most weekends I don't have a lot of spare time to fit lessons in.

Does anybody know of a training school in the Grimsby, Scunthorpe or Louth area that does intensive training over a period of a week or so as this would be much easier for me to manage.

There is LMT (Louth Motorcycle Training) but you will probably find the same situation with them Stan.

Everyone wants to do the bike test in the summer ;)

Personally I'd stick with Airfield. You won't get a better trainer than Gaz and I'm not just saying that cos he trained me. I used to be a driving instructor (car) so know a big about the others from being at the test centre.

Obviously it's your choice

Have you spoken to Airfield about a DAS?

Yeh I have Deso they don't do them anymore, but there last lesson on a weekday is 4 till 5 and I don't get out of work until 4, the boss will let me out a couple of times early but not all the time, and I have a second job on the docks at weekends but don't know until the Friday before if I'm working at which point its to late to book a lesson.

That's why it would be so much easier for me to take a week off and do the intensive course.

Well just spoken to Airfield Training and they don't do intensive training, I explained my situation and she didn't seem bothered to be honest, think I may have to go elsewhere, phoned LMT and they said £285 for 8 hours training then the mod 1 test the next day then after that its £420 for 1 days training the Mod 2 test the next day.

Well with an attitude like that I don't blame you for switching mate.

I didn't know they had stopped doing the DAS.

That's not too bad a price. Good luck
