Can't seem to find any info on replacing brake shoes on a Honda CBF125, is it an easy enough job? Don't want to take it to a garage if I can avoid it :)

Didn't someone recently do a rear shoe change on something like that and have a bit of write-up/trouble shoot?

take a photo/ draw a picture of where all the springs and clamps are located... any generic 'how to change brake shoes' will do

"Refitting is a reverse of removal" said every haynes manual ever :thumb:

how many miles has it done? has the rear arm reached the dot on the drum? adjusted it to Max?

undo rear brake adjuster and remove

undo bottom stabiliser bar.

undo chain adjustors

undo right axle bolt use a block of wood on axle , hammer axle out. if you can't pull from left side use a drill bit or similar to knock it through.

catch all the bits that fall off (spaces)

brake shoes will pull out complete. don't know about replacement as they last a life time.
