Hi,

My CG125 is producing high frequency vibrations through the foot rests. It's so bad that I have numb feet all day! It happens throughout the Rev range however seems less vibey at full revs. Going down gear produces lower frequency vibrations.

I've checked-

All bolts

Valves

Chain

Wheel bearings

Foot rests.. Even changed get the rubbers.

I'm on the verge of selling it as it's now so uncomfortable to ride! It's now just an expensive vibrator lo

I'm thinking main bearings. There is a rumble but not constantly. And it has been there for at least 5k.

Any thoughts on what else to check?

Hi,

Yep all engine bolts are tight. Even the ones you can't easily get to.

I did notice tonight that if revved with the clutch in while still rolling there is next to no vibes. Thinking it my be a clutch issue.

Cheers,

Shaun.

Could be that the clutch basket is loose..... :?

Dunno if that engine has a counterbalance shaft......but, if it does, could be loose or slipped position..... :?
