cockercas Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Just ordered a new -1 front sprocket. Anything else I need to order to fit it? Seals/washers etc. thanks. Quote
Joeman Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 A long breaker bar! The but will be done up pretty tight..Also, if your speedo reads off the front sprocket you'll need a speedo healer. Quote

cockercas Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 Old ones off. I just put a bit of wood through the swing arm and used a 2ft bar and it came loose. Cleaned the masses of crap out off there to. Cadwell next Monday so I can try it out. Going to go +2 on the back over winter to. Quote
Joeman Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Which bike is it?In went -1/+3 on my gixxer 600. Made the bike a lot more frisky. Great fun!I'm a firm believer that all bikes leave the factory with too high gearing just to satisfy EU noise and emmisions regulations. Quote
cockercas Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 Cbr600rr. I don't get to use the top end on the track so might aswell get a bit extra lower down. Il take my old stuff just incase I don't like it, can soon swap back. Quote
Stu Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 you wont have no problem with that gearing at cadwell just take it steady at hall bends the hairpin and barn as you will easily spin the rear in the wrong gear and with it all been under trees Quote
cockercas Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 Yer, I don't think I will but if I start focusing on stuff I can't ride. Last trackday they put the wristbands on to slack. It's all I could think about because they had sat funny on my wrist. I just couldn't ride. Got them changed and then I was back to normal. Quote
