Guest Posted May 10, 2007 Share Posted May 10, 2007 Saturday May 19 Leeds MAG Campaign Run – Leeds MAGs Annual Campaign Run Takes place on Saturday 19 May, to raise awareness of motorcycles. The run starts at Squires Cafe, nr. Sherburn-in-Elmet, West Yorkshire, setting off at 12.30 hrs. After leaving Squires Café, the run will meet up with a Police escort on route, then head off through the middle of Leeds, on its way to the West Leeds Sports and Social Club. Last year saw around 80 bikers on the run – even though it was pouring with rain throughout. Fingers crossed for sunshine this year! All are welcome to join in the run.As an added incentive to turn up, two film makers, funded by Arts Council England, are filming the run. They are making a short film about bikers in Leeds which will include interviews with bikers plus the run itself. The film will be premiered on Saturday 26 May at Hyde Park Cinema, Leeds.
