Best ride out

Planning a 48 hr ride out with my brother in the summer, just wanted to ask preferences from people regarding best roads in either scotland or Wales, we wanna stop in a hostel or something to keep costs down, so we're would be better Scotland or Wales cheers all

All depends on the 6 nations on where you go

I think they both have their plus points and I dont think you will go wrong with either of them

If you 100% want to get soaked for two days , go to Wales , if not got to Scotland.. 50/50 chance .

Having ridden both if I had to choose I would pick west coast/central Scotland everytime.

Is the 48 hours including traveling time?

Or is that the time you will spend once you have got there?

Distance and time from them may just be a factor for such a brief visit.

West coast Scotland - Glasgow, Inverary, Oban, Glencoe, Glen Orchy, Sterling, Glasgow. Or something similar.

Travel time as well, be on a weekend, first long ride out for both of us, was gonna camp but my Bro wants a bed because of his glass back lol, just want some nice long roads with great scenery

I would do north wales snowdonian area if I was you

its a bit closer so you will get more time in the area
