Guest Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Hey guys, Been reading the forum for a while and thought id finally post!I'm planning on taking a DAS course after summer. I know in an ideal world passing my CBT then gettign a bike and riding a while before taking MOD1 and MOD2 would be the best idea but i have a few concerns about this. I'm a big lad about 27 stone and I'm worried a 125 just isn't powerful enough to get me about. I live on the south coast with lots of cliffs and hills. So I'm thinking a DAS course might be the way to go. Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated! If anyone could recommend a bike course in east or west Sussex that would also be amazing! fullscreenaging Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 In your situation I think you are best going for the DAS.Get yourself a big bike and don't be afraid of it. Honestly, there is nothing be afraid of.As long as you are sensible while gaining experience after you pass you'll be absolutely fine. Good luck! Quote
Tango Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Welcome to TMBF mate....... Yeah, DAS is the way to go for you I think........not all bigger bikes are fire breathing monsters.......and they'll all only go as fast as you let them....... Quote
