Hello everyone :)

Here is my 2007 Honda 500 CBF.

I've owned it 2 month ago. I am the 4th owner. The previous owner bought it 2 years ago to a lady. He made the administration's steps to convert the bike for young drivers (A2 driving licence).

So, the V5 is ok for young drivers, but the bike has a free engine. The guy gave me the parts to flange it as it should be.

He also gave me that flyscreen and a leather tank cover. He also repaint the exaust, but the paint is coming of and a surface rust is appearing. 2 dents are noticeable on the tank.

I envisage to repaint the exhaust before having my licence, or during winter.

As a kid, I can't stop to put my nose and hands everywhere  ...

The next step will be an Union Jack's sticker on the tank for protecting of the scratches... And perhaps a british registration plate's style :P ?

Hiyaa :D !!

Here are some news of the bike, well, bad and good ones...

The good one : I've found a rear fender in great condition, from a 900 Hornet. Just need to adapt it for the screws and it will be perfect. The color is matt black, it will look stock :)

The bad point now... I've repaint the manifold. I've found a paint durable to 1200° Celsius. It has been sanded, washed, prepared and paint as it should be. 6 days after the paint job, I've put it on the bike. I've started the bike and what happened ? Blebs and a huge smoke have appeared  .

I don't understand what happened... I've done that on truck's manifold without that problem, the result was quite good, and didn't changed with time and extrem heating. I think the compressor had condensation inside :|

Well, how to destroy many hours of work :crybaby:

I'll watch it during the next days. If someone know a way to fix it, I'll listen it

Pictures soon...

Have a nice evening
