hi my piston pin of my 2012 cbf 125 is stuck solid to the clips out so i could remove the piston and the pin is stuck solid tried all sorts to get it to move any one else had this problem

You mean the gudgeon pin?


You'll probably need to heat the rod up to allow it to release the pin.

Buy or hire a gudgeon pin removal tool. Don't lean on the top of the conrod or you will damage the big end bearing.

Like above, heat will be needed to expand the piston and then drift the pin out

Read that as gentle heat, too much can deform the piston. A cloth/tea towel dipped into hot water then wrapped around the piston and left for a few minuites sometimes works.

Well pointed out, i would have thought no one would heat it until cherry red or melting though

You never know

You won't deform the piston unless it gets close to melting point. Use a proper tool to push the pin out or you will damage something.
