Guest Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Will a R6 throttle tube fit a Fazer FZS 600 2000 to make throttle quicker Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 throttle tube will not make any difference to responding quicker as i would of thought they are both the same just fitted to different bikes the difference will more likely to be at the carbs for how fast they open when throttle is twisted Quote
Stu Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 The r6 has a quick action throttle and needs less movement from fully closed to fully open eab Not sure if it will fit the fazer though Quote
oldie59 Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Do the old cable tie trick on your current one. What's that? Quote
Whitey1984 Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 It should fit, but you may need to modify inside the throttle housing to get it to fit perfectly with no rubbing.I know people who fit them to gsxr's with no issues. Any particular reason you want to change? Quote
whitedevil Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 I modded mine with some pvc pipe i had laying around, alot cheaper than a £150 quick action throttle.here is a walkthrough Quote
Mr Fro Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Do the old cable tie trick on your current one. What's that? The same as wot 'im said above but you use a cable tie cut to length instead or the pipe - you can layer them up too if you want a more aggressive throttle.OP - you can get eccentric cams for the carb/throttle bodies which are pretty good. They give you a quicker throttle without making your bottom end snatchy. Quote
