Guest Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I sent my pride and joy down the road a few weeks ago but now in the process of putting it right. I thought I would take this opportunity to give it a significant amount of TLC. One thing I am looking to do is upgrade the brake master cylinder and I was looking at the brembos. The only problem I have is I can't find a rear BMC for my girder 1000 K2. Does anyone know we're I can get one or if they a universal? Thanks in advance. Quote
Stu Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 just look on ebay for a radial master cylinder they are pretty much universal dont set your heart on a brembo though as there is plenty more decent ones out there Quote
Tango Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Quite a few should fit.......worst case scenario is to get an adaptor plate made if the replacement BMC don't fit..... Quote

Stu Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 no specific make as like a lot of things you are paying for the name the thing you need to look for is the bore x stroke size the more fluid the master cylinder can move the less lever movement you will need which means you will have more bite on the brakes ........providing you have decent calipers, discs and pads Quote
