New Bike, Max Throttle, Dropping Power

Hello Bikers,

I'm new to bikes in general, I just bought an old Honda Daelim 150cc and when I give it full throttle(and the engine reaches a certain rpm) it begins to 'chug' and lose power(similar to when your running out of petrol). Any ideas what might be causing it?

Blocked/occluded main jet or tired ignition components.

or it could just of reached its maximum power capacity and that will also cause it to chug and sound funny if its 4 stroke it could be getting valve bounce

Hitting the rev limiter?

Spark plug? Pull it and ground it out make sure your getting a nice blue spark. Check air filter isnt blocked it may not be getting required air up in rev range. If all ok then maybe carbs off and clean them
