rice-pudding Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 This little fella thought it would be funny to fall out when I was cleaning the carb, any idea where it's supposed to go? http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/jojo-clyro/Mobile%20Uploads/DSC_0077.jpg Quote
Stu Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Did you have the air screw out? Or the pilot screw? Quote
rice-pudding Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 Yes I did, not sure what one it might be for. The pilot has a spring with a rubber o-ring and the air is just bare. The washer fits both, I'm thinking air? Quote
Mr Fro Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Probably goes on top of the spring (mine do anyway). See if you can find a microfiche with an exploded diagram to be sure. Quote
Mr Fro Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 This look about right?http://images.cmsnl.com/img/partslists/suzuki-gsf600-1999-x-carburetor-model-s_bigsue0053fig12_e57f.gif29 is the o-ring30 is the washer Quote
rice-pudding Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 It's the carb on the YBR that I'm cleaning, can seem to find a washer on any diagram that I can find! Quote
Stu Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 It goes between the spring and the o ring to provide a seal Quote
Stu Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 See number 11 and 19 on here https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/yam ... 55007.aspx Quote
rice-pudding Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 Sorted now, the o-ring was stuck the carb in the hole, the washer must of been stuck too. Thanks again for the help guys Quote
Stu Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 That's usually what happens You have to fish the seal and the washer out normally with a thin bit of wire Quote
rice-pudding Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 Yeah I used a hair kirbee thing, atleast I'll know for next time. Just got to wait for the battery to come now and see if the old girl starts! Quote
