Saddlebags - Kawasaki Vulcan S

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Can anyone recommend any saddlebags plus supports for Kawasaki Vulcan S. The ones advertised in this country via Kawasaki cost approx £1000 which includes the supports etc.

I tried these https://www.vikingbags.com/kawasaki-vulcan-s-motorcycle-saddlebags" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; when I had a online chat they said they didnt deliver to the uk, however he put me onto another website https://www.motorcyclehouse.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; this seems legit right... however the same guy was having the online chat from both websites!!! when I mentioned this to him all he said was "WOW" I would have thought he would have been more polite considering I wanted to buy some saddlebags.

Anyone any suggestions please?

Thanks

Al

What about hard luggage? I know it's not exactly the first choice for a cruiser, but with the more modern styling of a Vulcan S you could probably rock it.

The Givi racks cost about £150, then the panniers are extra - various suppliers do bundles where you buy the lot together and save money. Don't be put off by the price of the aluminium cases (~£700 for the set), the plastic ones seem to be nearer the £300 to £400 range for the full setup!

Hi Rant,

I have had a look at the Givi set up and they don't seem to bad, not a bad price either. (Ive watched a few videos on you tube and the reviews seem ok) I suppose I am a bit dubious about the support rack that Givi use, on how it would look when I don't have the panniers attached.

Would something like a universal saddlebag support work, then buy some saddlebags? (cheaper than the GIVI set up). I think a universal saddlebag support in black may look ok If I can find one, they all seem to be chrome!!
