However, you are better off buying pre-made lines (with the end fittings) rather than building your own (the crimp has to be VERY good). Glorian Posted October 5, 2016 Share Posted October 5, 2016 Found the fuel line on mine kept coming off even though had a snug fit. Went out and bought a new line which JUST fit on and put some jubilee clips on either end just to stop it popping off. However, you are better off buying pre-made lines (with the end fittings) rather than building your own (the crimp has to be VERY good). crimped fittings? i thought it was a simple length of hose on them with a security clip on the end or small jubilee clip By 'crimped' I meant the 'proper' jubilee clips (small 'worm thread' that tighten down really well) - The correct length of pipe (with the fittings) is cheap enough from Suzuki certified suppliers (and come with a (limited) warranty rather than save a few bob and have possible problems going forward.
