Santander to Barcelona

I'm planning a road trip around the coast of Spain,Portsmouth to Santander and west following the coast all the way round and ending up at Barcelona, has anyone done this route? If so what sort of mileage could I expect to clock up and how long would it take? Cheers.

about 2000 miles!

I would be looking to do at least 2 weeks! there is no point in flying about and rushing through everywhere touring is about taking it steady and taking it all in

I've done Calais to torrevieja via milau and barcelona but not your route I'm afraid

If the coastal route is the plan, you would miss the Pyrenees and the Picos which would be a shame. Given the choice I would spend 2 weeks there and ride to Barcelona taking in the legendary N260 along the way.

It looks like we will go from Santander to the n260a to the n260 then Barcelona and do the route in reverse.

Nobody seems to have done it before... But you have to do the EX-102 if you can.

Probably the best road I've ever ridden... Circuit like tarmac, no traffic, mountainous twisty road and is fantastic.

Apart rom the small issue of this fella wanting to ride the coastline and the EX 102 being at least 200 miles inland.
