MR_W Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Anyone used these guys? They show up as the nearest Suzuki dealer to me and I am in need of a service on the bike. Would like to know how good they are first though.... Quote
Grommet Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Bought 2 bikes from fowlers, in my opinion they sold volume sales and stung you on services- hence they had a couple of services out of me.Ask for a service quotation and make sure they ask for customer confirmation of any additional works Quote
MR_W Posted October 21, 2016 Author Posted October 21, 2016 Yeah thought as much. I'll keep going back to probike in Newbury. Quote
RantMachine Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 They're pretty darn good for drooling over shiny new toys, great for trying on gear, and the cafe isn't too shabby... but the coffee is the only thing I've ever actually bought there Quote
Ticketyboo Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Gear is pricey. Staff are very helpful but stretched thin. I had a handful of services done and never had a problem with the outcome but anecdotal results vary. My understanding is that, like Halfords, they staff a lot of young trainee mechanics to keep the wage bill down. Quote
Guest Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 They were an established dealer when I started on bikes......so they're not one of these "here today gone tomorrow" outfits. In fact, I've still got a Fowlers T shirt from the 90's........it's held up well! Quote
Lumor_uk Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 reviews aren't great for them but I ordered some parts from their department and it was delivered on time and so so priced Quote
