Bianco2564 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Every town must have one, not a modern franchise but a corner shop that's been there for donkeys. In Rugby we have Diamond motorcycles, i first went in there in probably 1977,aside from the odd redecoration its still about the same. Quote
Throttled Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 I do not think there is a dealership in Glasgow that has been in the same premises for more than 10 years. The only dealership that has been about since I was a lad is Victor Devine. Most of the rest are changing all of the time, the latest is MCS are now in Kilmarnock and have the Yamaha franchise. Quote

I've never been particularly enthused with any of the bike dealers in Glasgow tbh. MCS seemed a bit better than some of the others though. Quote

I bought two bikes off MCS, no issues and a bike off Ride On (when they were in the south side of Glasgow) again with no issues. Quote
Gerontious Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Vale-Onslow in Brum, was a yearly ritual as a kid to be taken there by my old man. The fella who owned it died in 2004 aged 104.. 2 years after he was forced to give up riding. but aparently its still going strong run by the grandson I think.. whose worked there for almost 50 years.an amazing place..heres one of his bikes.. a Super Onslow Special. (SOS ) So Obviously Superior. Quote
