Bianco2564 Posted April 14, 2017 Posted April 14, 2017 For probably the first time in 6-7 years I dragged my Honda SS125 out from under the bench. It's a J reg 1970 ,if youre not familiar with the model, similar to the more common CB/CD175.Gave it a bit of a wipe down, sprayed over with some wd40 and kicked the engine over.Checked the battery voltage, still at 3v out of 6 which surprised me it still had some charge.Have owned it since 1998 when I paid £35 for it.I'm only the 3rd owner and the mileage of 8800 is genuine.I had it on the road once but it was not fun to ride,no power and shocking brakes but that's old bikes for you.It mainly needs new wheel rims, exhausts (which are hideously expensive) and a general tidy up.Also got genuine workshop manual, sales brochure and original bill of sale. iangaryprice Posted April 14, 2017 Posted April 14, 2017 From the photo it looks fairly tidy and complete.Looks like it would be worth spending some money to get it running and looking good. I'm sure in its current condition its worth many times what you paid for it. Quote
