Tankbag Posted September 2, 2017 Author Posted September 2, 2017 Have you got to put an awning up? They're known as divorce in a bag! We've never had a problem but beer deffo helps The strife has made it blindly clear that my chuckle brothers attempt at putting the awning up will drive her nuts. But, it's got blow up struts so I'm optimistic, ahem. Quote
Tankbag Posted September 3, 2017 Author Posted September 3, 2017 It begins ! Avoid M6 M42 M40 A34 unless you're in an overtaking mood Quote
Tankbag Posted September 3, 2017 Author Posted September 3, 2017 Have a great time! Cheers, well I'm enjoying it so far, we've probably ended up on YouTube as the noobs shouting at each other getting the van parked up. I've caved in on the Wi-Fi charge so I can avoid talking to the strife & I'm currently on the whisky Quote
Tankbag Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 Observations from my 1st time caravanning.Entertainment is watching others put their awning up.Everyone wears pyjamas in the morning on their way to the block.I need more beer, a lot more.2 hours feels like 6.I now know for sure why I ride motorbikes. Each to their own, be a boring world if we're all the sameMeanwhile to help stop my mind from shutting down I'll carry on with planning the Colditz trip for next spring Quote
megawatt Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 Don't trust Sat nag, it could send you down single track lanes. Sterilise water containers, pump and heater, flush through then refill. Empty toilet every two days. Don't put too much weight onto tow ball or not enough. Quote
Tankbag Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 Much quieter now since I added the strife to the time capsule Quote
Tankbag Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 Any good lawyers on here that can defend me for diminished responsibility,,,,,, Quote
Tankbag Posted September 6, 2017 Author Posted September 6, 2017 A van turned up towed by a vw transporter & after he'd setup pulled an F800 out the back of the vw 🖒 Had a chat, what a brill idea I'm jealous. Quote
Tankbag Posted September 9, 2017 Author Posted September 9, 2017 Have you got to put an awning up? They're known as divorce in a bag! A couple today have been 2 hours putting theirs up & so far they've got the awning attached & poles laid out on the ground, restrained arguing to be fair to them Quote
megawatt Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I have a hydraulic lift in my Transit for lifting the Fazer or GSX in. Towed the caravan around UK for 3 months and rode the Fazer when the roads were good. Quote
