I have bought two Daelim roadwin bikes, both are fuel injected 2011 and 2012.

One of the bikes runs perfectly however when you put it in gear it will shut the engine, even I've bypassed side stand. I've swapped the ECU's over and problem solved starts and rides fine. So what can cause this? is there any way to cut any sensors out to the ECU?

Should I unplug gear sensor but then it will mean no neutral light?

And with the second one the engine runs lumpy meaning it will not rev over 4,000 RPM and back fires, had engine light on telling O2 sensor, now that has been replaced and engine light has gone but still is difficult to start and when its going runs lumpy. By the way it has new injector, spark plug.

Any ideas?

Thank you

If you put the first ECU in the donor bike, does the fault appear there? If so, it's the ECU that is faulty, not the sensors attached to it. Hand in pocket time, I'm afraid.

Well no, both ECU works fine on one of the bikes starts and rides fine but with the other bike no matter what ECU your running it will now start and idle fine but seems to run rich looking at the spark plug and bogs when throttled. What can cause this? TPS, O2 sensor?

What controls the ECU to adjust fuel mixture on cold start as a choke? BTW its air cooled

Checked for a clogged air filter?

Yep!

I've swapped over each part and tested on the other bike which still runs fine.... including things like temperature sensor, throttle position sensor, injector, spark plug, throttle unit...

And the last part I've got left is the O2 sensor, both bikes shows engine light and O2 sensor code, which is quite usual for both to go at the same time.

They are 4pin sensors and they have been checked with a multi meter and it seems both have out of tollerances, does not produce more than 0.2V when heated being red hot, and poor ohm reading on the heater part.

Will order one in and see if that solves it!
