Walkersway Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Looking for some heated grips, and Oxford and R&G make some. Does anyone know which are better?ThanksSent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Quote
tPIC Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 I’ve just fitted R&G’s to mine last week. Picked them up for £29 at the NEC bike show. Simple enough to fit and super hot. I’m happy so far.I think that the Oxford’s look a more quality product and there is more choice re grip style. The temp control looks better and allows you to adjust up and down on the Oxfords whereas with he R&G’s you have to cycle up through the heat settings to get back down to zero if you see what I mean. May be annoying when riding. Quote

Hoffnungslos Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Some of the magazines are running a promotion just now, sign up for the year and get oxford grips for free. I think it’s BIKE that have it just now.Oh, if anyone buys a new Triumph model which has the ride by wire throttle, currently you seem stuck having to buy their ones at £180 Quote

I have been running mine for 18 months on one bike no issues. Quote
mikestrivens Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 I have the Oxford heated grips that the previous owner installed on my Tiger 800 Xcx. They are very effective and offer more temperature settings than the standard Triumph fitted ones, for a cheaper price. Quote
