Bobbidazler101 Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 Ok, so I got a gsx-s750, the problem being is that the handle bars are 30mm in diameter, and I have had a screw snap from one of the bar ends, I did drill 90% of it out, then the drill bit snapped. So I canโt find for the life of me, a 30mm bar, all 22mm. But I have seen a pro downhill mountain bike flat bar, that is basically what am looking for, my question is will this be safe on my motorbike??? Or so I get a riser and have a 22mm bar?? Itโs driving me mad. Thanks in advance Rob Quote
megawatt Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 You say 30mmbar and 22mmbar.? Don't you mean the forks are 30mm and the bar is 22mm? Quote
fastbob Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 You sure its exactly 30 mm ? Not 28.6 by any chance ? Rental do Fatbars for push bikes AND motorbikes but the motorbike ones are like so... Quote
Bobbidazler101 Posted May 20, 2018 Author Posted May 20, 2018 Yeah sorry mate mate it was the clamp area which is 28mm, the fella in the shop told me to look for 30mm.... no wonder I couldnโt find any . Thanks for the help, bars are ordered .Rob Quote

The Fatbars that Renthal do for pushbikes are 31.8 so in answer to your question about safety, they are probably stronger than motorbike ones . Quote
Bobbidazler101 Posted May 21, 2018 Author Posted May 21, 2018 I was wondering about fat mtb bars that renthal do, but unsure if they could handle the load. On the other hand they were pro downhill carbon lite ones, so I think they would have, thanks for the help Quote
