smallfrowne Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 yes that is serious money but like the man said you cant take it with you That is true. It's quite cheap for a tank though isn't it? Does the UN have a fleet? It should. The Nc30 does live! Well, currently coolantless and a few bits to fettle but I might take it on another track day shortly Quote
Gerontious Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 £19,520 on a bike wow is it really worth all that money?? I had this exact same reaction when i told people I was buying a certain bike way back when.. only difference then was nobody had a clue what a GS was.My first cost me £9.300 in 1997. allowing for inflation that is £16,630 in todays money. and so this new bike isnt wildly expensive by comparison. in fact its probably a bargain if you compare it with my old tractor.Im sure there are people who wonder why anyone would spend £1000s on a bike when.. back in the day. £159 Quote
The GOAT Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 We all know most motorcycle are stupid money nowadays The way I see it, A decent specced Ford Fiesta is close to 20k! it's a bloody fiesta man I don't like cars that much and there's little to no fun in a touristy area to enjoy them as much as motorcycles. It's all good, will it be an improvement over my 2015? I hope so, I really couldn't fault it and was the only bike I felt at home on and that's worth something to me.Sure its a lot but they have evolved a lot too. Quote
