Chrissb6 Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 O.K folks this is the route that l hope to follow.I will give it a run as soon as it fit and give you all some feed back on time and distance, l think it takes most of the good roads and sites around Derbyshire obviously its going to be down to the weather and the like. Judging by this weekends weather, if you've nothing better to do you might want to get the maps out and have a look at the route. if anybody got any ideas or comments please let me know.As said these are very good roads with views to match. I will do a run and try and sort out a decent place to stop on route for drinks and the like.Have a good weekendChrisMatlock Run:Starting from Matlock Bath head along the A6 to CromfordTurn right at the lights A5036 100yrds onto Viagelia A5012 15 miles of nice fast and twisty’sTurn right onto A515 10 miles to Buxton Fast Roman Road’, skirt Buxton head due westJoin A53 Leek road past 5 ways café turn right at garage A54 onto Cat and Fiddle road. Then onto A537 past cat and Fiddle pub on the right Note: police after pub speed camera’sNice and twisty road into Macclesfield.
