RaidenSnake Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 Hi all. Long time rider, first time poster.I was hoping someone could shed light on something that happened to me this morning coming into work.Only a couple hundred feet away from where I park in the city, something pinged off my 2006 Kawasaki Z750S, from the front end I think. I could have just ran over a large pebble but it felt more like something came off from on the bike. I should have stopped there and then but I carried on and parked and walked back to where it happened to find whatever it was. Apart from a pink child's shoe, all I found was this strange little thing (pics in the links). https://ibb.co/zWgBPfkhttps://ibb.co/DfQFN1bhttps://ibb.co/FYy68mJI'm hoping someone can shed light on what this is, or even if someone recognises it as something else so I know this wasn't it. I've had brake pistons fall off my bike before so I don't want to take any chances.Thank in advance. Quote
Baldrick Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 I've owned that same model of bike and don't recognise this part.It has an O ring on one end so pushes into something, could possibly be a coil from an Ecig maybe. Quote

E cig coil would have cotton inside of it, and probably would have the plastic on it as it would end up melting.Judging by the grubbiness of it I doubt it has come off your bike as it looos like it’s been run over a few times Quote
fastbob Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 My thoughts were also that this is a piece of junk from an ecig or vaping device . If it was off your bike you would probably know about it . Quote
