So, there are a lot of people on this forum who either have a naked 600 or want one. As there is alot of competition in this market, I thought it would be cool if we could run a showdown between the various models.

Starting off, I would go for the Hornet 600 as it is a good all rounder (looks, performance and practicality).

The Street Triple is nice (EDIT: Gorgeous), but expensive and there is a waiting list until October!

have to say triumph nicest looking, the ducati is sweet as well. the yamaha doesnt look right unfaired but the faired model is ace looks like a transformer.

I voted Hornet due to owning one, but the Triple is B - E - A Utiful!!

Don't think they have a 600cc model, but I love Naked Buell's as well.

Oh and I think I got mixed up on the Triumph's name:

Street Triple is the 675cc

Speed Triple is the 1050cc

Hornet as its like my CBF and an excellent all rounder and my lowered suspension unit will fit it!!!

Korben I thought the buells were interesting, quirky, different etc. etc.

I thought maybe make a good next buy.

Then I test rode one, no way! horrible!

only my opinion but strongly suggest you test ride first.

Most definately I would go for the SPEED triple....

But in the spirit as it was intended I would go for the STREET TRIPLE....

Otherwise I would have another SV650S.... Brilliant bike and wish I could have kept mine for fun.....

If you can afford it..... S0d it..... Get a loan and buy a Speed Triple...

Rode one last year and it was excellent.... Gonna try thr Street Triple for a laugh this year...

I voted for the Bandit cus I thought the speed triple was 1050. Now the street triple is another issue. I`m seriously considering the speed triple though as my next bike....must get saving
