Hello Guys! Stuck... I love my GPZ 500 very well cared for but stood for 2 months. Now not starting properly 🤯 and the Kovix Disc Lock is locked on now! Fuming...

The disc lock is not beeping/ unlocking with any of the keys and have tried wd40 and acf 50 in the lock.. and even checked instructions. would a bolt extractor be the quickest way to get it off? Would a Grinder next to back wheel damage tire / disc Itself?

Turning my bike on I have checked dead switch, gears, jumped the bike off, greased the side stand cut off switch, played with the choke, even topped up the distilled battery water and charged it. The bike power is now fine, just won’t ignite.

I have some easy start but does anyone have an image of the air intake for an old GPZ? Is it behind the grill at the front? My Kawasaki Manual is in German! 😏. It’s unlikely to be 2 spark plugs at the same time on the same vehicle. Any ideas would be appreciated as like the bike but feel like pushing it off a cliff right now!!

I'm betting an extractor would snap off and then you'd have a harder job

Is fuel getting in? are the plugs wet at all?

Edit: I read it wrong. I see you are saying there's no power going to bike despite battery being charged?

cut the disc lock with a angle grinder and the airbox is attached to the carbs you will need to take it of when you clean the carbs out to get it running :)
