Hello,

I have a YBR125, about 6 years old. It has been standing for a little and recently I tried to start it. The battery had died so I replace it with a Powerline YTX7L-BS, it is of similar spec but 7Ah. Now when I tried to start the bike , it came up with a 46 error. The bike has only about 70 miles on the clock, but is 6 years old.

Would be grateful for guidance on why the error has appeared and maybe some solutions before I call someone to take it away to fix.

Thank you

According to google the fault code is as follows

#46 is a fuel Injection power supply problem . Battery, charging circuit, faulty wiring or connector.

Sounds like it isnt happy with a different battery.

Another quick google shows that it should have a 12V, 6ah, 85 CCA battery. I'd say therein lies the issue :thumb:

Hi and welcome.

If the Ah is bigger it should not be an issue.

Check connections and voltages.
