johncarternexus Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Hello,I have a YBR125, about 6 years old. It has been standing for a little and recently I tried to start it. The battery had died so I replace it with a Powerline YTX7L-BS, it is of similar spec but 7Ah. Now when I tried to start the bike , it came up with a 46 error. The bike has only about 70 miles on the clock, but is 6 years old.Would be grateful for guidance on why the error has appeared and maybe some solutions before I call someone to take it away to fix.Thank you Quote
Tiggie Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 According to google the fault code is as follows#46 is a fuel Injection power supply problem . Battery, charging circuit, faulty wiring or connector.Sounds like it isnt happy with a different battery.Another quick google shows that it should have a 12V, 6ah, 85 CCA battery. I'd say therein lies the issue Quote
JRH Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Hi and welcome. If the Ah is bigger it should not be an issue.Check connections and voltages. Quote
