Guest Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Sooo have rebuilt caliper, new seals, pistons shined up, new bleed nipples, joining bolts and slider pins. Have put it all back together and the pads aren't sitting parallel. When I pull them apart the bottom of the caliper springs back together. Can only think it's the spring clips that hold the pads and anti chatter plates together. Any ideas, is it a problem? Quote
husoi Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Don't you need to fit the pin that holds the pads in place? It should go in place once the pads have the disk in between. Quote
Stu Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 You haven't got a problem Its just the spring plate on the top applying a little pressure and causing the pad to sit the way it is Its extremely common Quote

Good to know all is well. Once you get it on and the pistons pumped up it will all be fine Quote
