Hi Guys, So I've just started riding and got a 2009 CBF 125.

The guy I bought it from said it had been sitting for a while.

So I've ridden about 150 miles on it. Then today I stopped at the lights and it cut out, and the engine management light came on.

I managed to get it started again after letting the bike sit for a minute. And the warning light had gone. So I kept riding.

And this happened a couple more times. But it started if I turned it of and on again. And this even happened when crusing 50mph, the engine just cut out??

Don't know if you have any ideas, what this issue could be?

I was thinking it might have been bad fuel, as the fuel is getting low??

No idea regarding the engine management but i would recommend giving it a full service, fresh fuel wouldn't hurt either :thumb:

So I've found my problem. It was the bolt holding the negative on the battery had come off. So the the pump was turning off I guess when I got a bump it lost contact and stalled the bike.

I managed to find the bolt so now runs perfect.

Thanks for your help though
