Take MV Agusta’s F3 800, pair it with café racer styling, and you get the Superveloce 800. This machine is derived heavily from its stablemate, but as we said in our First Ride, “was conceived as an elegant variant offering a more comfortable riding posture while maintaining the possibility of top speeds in the neighborhood of 150 mph (hence the name Superveloce) due to the streamlined fairing.” The bodywork hearkens back to MV Agusta’s racing history, but contains a modern 798cc three-cylinder engine with an electronic control system and four ride modes, and rider aids like eight-level TC and rear-wheel lift-up mitigation ABS. It is dressed to impress—and impresses it does.

2020 MV Agusta Superveloce 800 Reviews, Comparisons, And Competition

Sharp and firm steering response, appropriate weight distribution, stability at speeds, and beautiful styling were praises given by our First Ride tester—all to be expected of Italian design.

The Superveloce is up against the café-hopping likes of the BMW R nineT Racer, Kawasaki Z900 RS Café, Ducati Scrambler Café Racer, Suzuki SV650X, and Triumph Thruxton 1200 R/RS.
