So I've just picked the bike up from it's first service and they mentioned that the chain was slightly on the slack side of things. I had only adjusted it two weekends ago and has 3700 miles on it.

He mentioned that for the power of the bike the chains are on the small side and could really do with a thicker/heavier duty from the factory. I did laugh when he said that is wasn't big enough for the power the bike has! 125cc with 15bhp 🤣.

So can anyone recommend a thicker/heavier duty chain brand that I should look at? I get that I'll also be swapping out the sprockets at the same time.

Thanks

That's not unusual on 125s. I had the same issue when I had a Van Van. The stock chain was made of chocolate.

Therefore there are lots of heavy duty chain and sprocket kits available for them, including a DID package.
