TMC Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Hey all, I've just brought a yamaha SR125 to do up and use over winter. I've got no spark whatsoever. I've put a new coil on, spark plug, new battery and checked all the earths and they are all good. There is constant power to the coil but this isn't broken when you turn the engine over (I'm guessing this is how you get the spark) What else am I missing? Quote
TimR Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Sr are renowned for the cdi unit to go ( most restrict power to 45mph ) Check the wiring connector for the cdi/ecu as also prone to corrosion. 1 Quote

They are all clean and corrosion free. Do you know if there is a way of testing the CDI/ECU ? Quote
