Fitted me Kappa fly screen.

Hi all.

 

After a couple of weeks delay the above arrived today. Ten minute job to fit it. Some decent fittings and a decent looking small smoked screen.

 

Not that keen fitting a screen to a naked bike but I'm hoping it might help take the cold blast of air away from the chest. I can soon take it off for the summer.

 

I haven't ridden far yet with it on. Could have done maybe with it yesterday. Cold old ride to Fimber cafe and it was shut.

My experience of screens on naked bikes is that they give you some protection by deflecting the airflow, especially when it's wet.

 

On smaller engined bikes the improvement of performance on open roads can be quite significant because the deflection of the airflow means there is less drag caused by your body.

 

I always leave mine on all year round.
