Pbassred Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 With my MCE insurance policy dead since 31st of January I am still waiting for my Certificate of NCB. Is anyone else in this position? I have no idea when the 90% of my partial refund will be issured. Still less idea why anyone would continure to deal with a company that behaves like this. Quote
Liveware Problem Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 I was in the same position, I called and he assured me it would be sent out. A week later I called again, turns out I needed to phone my previous insurer, as I hadn't been with MCE long enough to get another year. So unless you've been with them 11 months you'll be in the same position Quote

Have to agree they are utterly useless. Only thing I can suggest is to keep calling them as they seem to ignore emails. Quote
PaulM Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 I put in a claim to MCE on the 12th Jan, they said they will still honour the claim as it was before the company went bust. It has now been over 8 weeks and not even a reply as to what they will offer by way of a claim, they just keep saying they are waiting for an engineers report before they can make an offer. The bike has been sat in a storage hanger for 8 weeks, so I have now requested by bike back and I will cancel my claim. Don't expect a quick reply of you have an on going claim with MCE...! Quote
daveinlim Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Got my cert last week and it's wrong. Currently arguing that it's a year short Quote
