Fiddlesticks Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 My foot peg hangers/brackets were looking a bit mottled, so I started scrubbing away... The good news is that the muck has come off... The bad news is so has what was left of the shiny finish. I think this may have been some kind of laquer. To be honest, they do look better now they are a uniform colour, but if anyone has an idea as to how to get them shiny again, can you share? Quote
Mickly Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Autosol and lots of elbow grease will get the shine back but it won’t last, you’ll need to clear coat it to maintain the shine…. Or have them plated. 1 Quote
Old-codger Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Get them powder coated and save all the hassle. 1 Quote
