indicators Indicators working simultaneously

Hello.

I’ve recently washed my motorcycle  and then when I went out for a ride, I realised that when I turn the indicator, both are working simultaneously. 

What could happened?

I'd be very thankful for your help.

Water ingress somewhere most likely. I'd give the indicator switch a good spray with wd40 and leave it overnight to dry out then see if it is working normally
