john666 Posted March 21, 2023 Share Posted March 21, 2023 Hi I recently purchased a 2021 sinnis akuma 125 needing some tlc iv done most of what it needed to get it back on the road but I'm now stuck and need advice/help I have nothing showing up on my speedometer assembly except the eml and neutral light engine running or not, also no horn or lights when the engine is running any help would be greatly appreciated I will say i have purchased a brand new speedometer assembly still nothing works, Thanks in advance. Breadsnapper Posted March 23, 2023 Share Posted March 23, 2023 Have you checked all the fuses? Then check all the connections for corrosion. If it's not been looked after and left outside it's most likely corrosion. Also checks for physical damage to the wiring loom such as cuts in the cables. Tinkicker Posted March 24, 2023 Share Posted March 24, 2023 (edited) First thing that springs to mind, having noted the genre of bike is to check the wiring harness for signs of a previous attempted theft, hotwiring and "repairs". It may be that the bike has had a misfortune with the criminal element, suffered some electrical damage and that is why the owner is selling.
