Where to get chroming done?

I have a few parts that need re-chroming.

 

Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced company. The quotes I've had so far seem very high. E.g. £140 for a 6" x 8" engine cover.

It is. I had a set of fork stantions rechromed by them and they do a first class job

Please bear in mind from what I recall A.M.Phillpot of Luton is a specialist hard chromers and is used in application as fork legs rather than a decorative chromer who may well be cheaper as it`s a different thing.

Good luck in your search and maybe speak with people local to you who show bikes/cars.
