Thinking of selling the XJR

Recommended Posts

Lovely bike, had it since the beginning of 2022. It is a 2007 model in cobalt blue with 25,849 miles on the clock, may increase slightly. Some age-related marks (mostly just paint wear on the pillion grab bar), but good condition overall. Smooth powerful inline four engine.

About 500 miles since I really went to town on her...

  • Two new tyres - Dunlop Roadsmart IV
  • Oil & filter change (Castrol's finest)
  • New K&N air filter
  • Greased swingarm and gave everything a good clean & polish
  • New DID ZVM-X Super Heavy Duty X-Ring Gold Chain and JT Sprockets
  • New brake pads front and rear
  • Fitted an optimate charge lead
  • Clutch slave cylinder rebuilt

MOT was passed at the end of Feb (advisory for one of the new rear pads which was brushing the disk - it's now bedded in). Since then, only dry miles - otherwise it's been under a sheet on the Optimate in the garage.

Aftermarket mirrors, Ohlins shocks, XJT rad guard, crash bungs, HEL braded hoses, front fender extender, standard oil filter adapter and a Beowulf exhaust (loud). Complete with 3 keys (including the red key), handbook, manual and service book. I also have some spare (unopened) bearings and bits.

£4250 - located Wirral.
