Can anybody help me identify what these 2 cables are for?

I just installed a phone holder to my 2021 lexmoto lxr and I found these 2 cables coming from the left grip with both female terminals that I never noticed before..

 Can someone shed some light as to what they are for? Thank you in advance for your wisdom .

It could be wires for the clutch switch which is under the clutch lever or possible the bike had heated grips and they have been removed leaving the wiring.

The other possibility is the clutch Could be for the starter clutch switch. So the bike knows the clutch is pulled in before starting particularly if its based on the suzuki bikes.

The clutch switch was my first thought too. 

 

It's there to make sure the clutch is pulled in before the bike will allow you to start it. Some people by-pass them for various reasons (I did mine because I got some different levers and the switch wouldn't activate)
