Keeway superlight euro5 drive issues

Hoping I can get some guidance here with my superlight, had no issues with bike just needed to get a new rear tire, all sorted but when leaving within a few minutes engine warning light came on n started cutting out when stopped at lights, got going again but had a real strong smell of petrol, told just give it some welly, clear pipes out, not worked still looses power,  cleaned out air filter which did have some petrol I think in there, assuming the bike feel over when they did tire but say it didn't, changed the o2 sensor, but nout still chugs n looses power has anyone any ideas? Is the air filter soaked with petrol?
